Madoqua Renewables' €900 Million Investment for Waste Processing Plant in Ternopil

Madoqua Renewables Holding Limited, a Dutch-Portuguese green energy company, has announced a major investment plan at the ReBuild Ukraine exhibition, in partnership with UkraineInvest. The plan involves a €900 million project to build a waste processing plant in Ternopil, Ukraine. This facility will focus on producing 'green fuel' (methanol) from waste sugar production, utilizing wastewater in the process.

The project is expected to generate significant employment opportunities, with over 500 direct and 2500 indirect jobs. Madoqua Renewables, established in 2016, specializes in developing and operating projects that harness renewable energy sources and produce eco-friendly chemicals and gases.

The investment strategy includes €40 million for project development, followed by a capital investment of €300 to €400 million, culminating in a total investment of approximately €800 to €900 million.
