German Firm Fixit to Establish Second Factory in Ukraine

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced that Fixit, a German construction material manufacturer, will establish its second factory in Ukraine. This expansion comes with the backing of investment insurance from the German government, a deal set to be formalized at the sixth German-Ukrainian economic forum in Berlin.

Highlighting Ukraine's eagerness for German business investment, particularly in its restoration phase, Shmyhal pointed out that this move by Fixit represents a significant step. In addition to the government's insurance support, Fixit will also secure a €12 million loan from the German bank KfW, underscoring the project's importance and symbolism.

FIXIT GRUPPE, headquartered in Germany, is known for its production of building materials and incorporates five European brands: FIXIT, GREUTOL, HASIT, KREISEL, and RÖFIX. With a network of 67 production and sales offices across 18 European countries, the group employs a workforce of approximately 2.5 thousand.
